International boxer Ngangom Dingku passes away

International boxer and Arjuna awardee Ngangom Dingku, hailing from Manipur, died on Thursday morning after a protracted struggle in opposition to most cancers. Family sources mentioned that he had been battling terminal most cancers for some years.
The Asian Games gold medallist was awarded the Padma Shri in 2013 by the Union authorities.
The Manipur authorities had honoured him by naming an essential street in Imphal after him. He has been serving as a coach within the Navy.
Many sports activities golf equipment and dignitaries have condoled his loss of life. His final rites have been carried out in Sekta, his native village in Imphal east district.
