IRCTC, KTDC join hands for tour packages

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) has joined hands with the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) to launch tour packages inside the State.
The packages are primarily aimed toward encouraging home tourism and are being provided from cities throughout the State. Only the properties of the KTDC can be used.
Tourists from Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam metropolis limits can be picked up from their doorstep in a completely sanitised automobile and dropped again after the tour.
Destinations
The packages have been designed for vacationers to benefit from the tea plantations at Munnar, wildlife at Thekkady, backwaters of Kumarakom and Alappuzha, and seashores of Kovalam. The packages of various durations, from two to 5 nights, are priced from ₹5,030.
There can be an accident insurance coverage protection as much as ₹10 lakh for vacationers availing themselves of the bundle, in keeping with the Joint General Manager, Tourism, IRCTC, Ernakulam, Ratheesh Chandran R. All IRCTC packages qualify for LTC claims of the federal government.
Bharat Darshan is again
With the easing of journey restrictions, the IRCTC has launched tour packages from Kerala to different States. Its hottest finances tour bundle, Bharat Darshan is again in a brand new avatar. The cities of Gwalior, Khajuraho, Jhansi, Sanchi, Vidisha and Bhopal can be coated in a 10-day Christmas trip programme titled ‘Jewels of Madhya Pradesh’ that begins on December 20.
Tourists can board the practice from Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Ottapalam and Palakkad. The bundle, priced at ₹10,200 per passenger, consists of up and down practice fare, morning tea, vegetarian south Indian meals all through the journey, lodging at halls and dormitories at locations of evening keep, non-air conditioned bus at locations of sightseeing, safety, and tour escort in every coach.
