Jewellery goes missing from bank locker

A senior citizen on Wednesday lodged a grievance with the police alleging that 55 sovereigns of jewelry saved within the secure locker of a nationalised bank was missing.
According to police, Srinivasan, 65, a retired authorities worker, is a resident of Ekkaduthangal. He, alongside along with his spouse Dhanalakshmi, went to the bank on Tuesday and located a bag containing roughly 55 sovereigns of jewelry missing from the locker.
