JNTU-K campus converted into 1000-bed COVID facility

As instances surge within the district, the State authorities has converted the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU-Kakinada) campus into a 1000-bed COVID Care Centre to accommodate sufferers with delicate or reasonable signs.

The district has 72 designated COVID hospitals.
By Tuesday, solely two Intensive Critical Care(ICU) beds had been vacant of the full capability of 62 on the Government General Hospital (GGH-Kakinada). In case of beds with oxygen provide, a complete of 111 beds are vacant of the full 794 beds.
