‘Ka Ra Mastaru’ mourned

The loss of life of fashionable author Kalipatnam Rama Rao was mourned by varied literary organisations and people within the metropolis. The Forum for Development of North Andhra (FDNA) has expressed shock on the loss of life of Rama Rao. His ‘Yagnam’ received the Central Sahitya Akademi award and a few of his brief tales had been translated into varied Indian languages other than different Indian languages. He was inspiration for a number of writers from north Andhra. FDNA normal secretary A. Aja Sarma expressed his sympathies to the bereaved relations. MLC P.V.N. Madhav, who can be State normal secretary of BJP, has expressed grief on the loss of life of ‘Ka Ra Mastaru’, as he was popularly identified. He described the loss of life as a loss to the literary world. He had received State and central awards for his works. The district committee of Sahiti Sravanthi has described his loss of life as a loss to the literary world in north Andhra.
He had inspired a number of budding writers and poets and based ‘Kadha Nilayam’ in Srikakulam. CPI(M) State government member Ch. Narasinga Rao and district secretary K. Lokanadham expressed their condolences.
