Kerala MLA Mani. C. Kappan quits LDF, to join UDF

He says he’ll contest from Pala on NCP ticket as UDF companion.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief and incumbent Pala legislator Mani. C. Kappan has parted methods with the Left Democratic Front (LDF).
Mr. Kappan, who arrived in Kochi on February 13 after talks with the NCP nationwide management in New Delhi, advised reporters he wouldn’t yield the Pala seat he gained within the 2019 by-election to Jose K. Mani of the Kerala Congress (M).
He mentioned he’ll join the United Democratic Front (UDF) as a coalition companion. He claimed the help of 9 State-level NCP leaders, seven district presidents, 18 key office-bearers and one nationwide normal secretary.
