FIR lodged
Circle Officer Alok Singh stated no farmers had been named in the FIR lodged by NHAI. “It is against unidentified persons and no specific site has been mentioned. It will continue to hold and be investigated,” he stated.
Mr. Singh stated that some belongings like mattresses and tents had been seized from the spot and can be returned to the elders. “Farmers have decided to provide moral support to farmers sitting at Ghazipur border,” he stated.
On violation of Section 144, Mr. Singh stated a choice can be taken after session with the administration.
