Left parties to hold protest against ‘failures’ of State govt.
The Left parties together with others have threatened to stage an indication exterior the workplace of Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa on June 15 in protest against the federal government’s “failure” to deal with COVID-19 pandemic.

CPI(M) State secretary Basavaraj stated the “unscientific” lockdown had affected 1000’s of folks. The Union and State governments had failed in pandemic administration, he added.
“The financial aid announced by the government is grossly insufficient and it should be enhanced to at least ₹10,000. It is also restrictive as not all sections of BPL families have been covered,” CPI State secretary Saati Sundaresh stated. He stated the State that had a funds outlay of ₹2.4 lakh crore had stored apart a mere ₹1,500 crore as assist when 1000’s are complaining of starvation.
