The Karnataka authorities on Thursday extended the lockdown for yet another week, till 6 a.m. of June 14.
Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa introduced that although the variety of COVID-19 circumstances have been declining, the pandemic was spreading to rural areas. The lockdown could be lifted after June 14 if the circumstances fall under 5%.
The Chief Minister additionally introduced a COVID bundle of ₹323 crore for the good thing about powerloom weavers, academics of unorganised major and secondary colleges, ASHA employees, anganwadi assistants and fishermen, unorganised employees within the movie trade, and clergymen of ‘C’ class Muzrai temples.
