Maharashtra: Case against Mahesh Manjrekar for ‘slapping’ man

A man has filed a police criticism against filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar for allegedly slapping and abusing him after his automobile hit Manjrekar’s car right here in Maharashtra, a senior police official stated on Sunday.
The incident happened on Friday evening close to Yavat village on Pune-Solapur freeway following which police registered a non-cognisable offence against Manjrekar, the official from Yavat police station stated.
The complainant, Kailas Satpute, alleged that his car hit Manjrekar’s automobile from behind after the filmmaker utilized sudden brakes, he stated.
Manjrekar then stepped out of his automobile and each of them had an argument, following which the filmmaker allegedly slapped and abused Satpute, the official stated.
The man later filed a police criticism against Manjrekar.
The police registered a non-cognisable offence beneath related Indian Penal Code Sections, the official stated.
