A 30-year-old man allegedly sexually assaulted an eight-year-old minor below the Rampachodavaram police division in East Godavari district on Sunday.
East Godavari SP Adnan Nayeem Asmi stated the police obtained a name via the Dial 100 service from the locals who complained of the incident of their space. The accused, T. Ramu, a neighbour of the woman, was arrested by the Disha police who rushed to the spot inside a couple of minutes after receiving the decision.
The accused reportedly perpetrated the crime within the absence of the woman’s mom at dwelling. He was allegedly overwhelmed up by the locals on being learnt in regards to the incident.
