Minister lays foundation for Jagananna houses in Vizag suburb

Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao stated that the dream of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is to construct houses for all of the poor individuals in the State.
The Minister laid the foundation for development of houses at YSR Jagananna Colony at Gurrampalem in Pendurthi mandal on the outskirts of town on Thursday together with Collector V.Vinay Chand and MLA A. Adeep Raj.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Srinivasa Rao stated that the 11-acre structure at Gurrampalem was developed into 454 plots and water connections got with ₹8.13 lakh and electrification works had been sanctioned with ₹89.60 lakh. The web site was levelled at a price of ₹17.94 lakh and foundation was being laid for 100 houses as a part of the mega grounding mela, he stated.
Mr. Vinay Chand defined that as a part of the second part of the mela, grounding works could be finished at YSR Jagananna Colonies in the district on July 1, 3 and 4. He referred to as upon the beneficiaries to focus on the development of houses and get the work completed early. The authorities would provide 20 tonnes of sand to the beneficiaries freed from price. The required metal and cement was prepared on the depots, he stated.
He stated that each one the essential facilities like borewells, UGD, sanitation, electricty and roads other than Anganwadi centres could be offered in Jagananna Colonies.
MLA Adeep Raj stated that 32,000 beneficiaries could be offered everlasting housing in Pendurthi constituency.
Joint Collector M. Venugopal Reddy, Housing PD Srinivas, Constituency Special Officer Hemalatha, Mandal Special Officer Raju, MRO P. Rama Rao, MPDO S. Manjulavani, Housing DE Raju and Sarpanch Govindarajulu had been amongst those that participated in the programme.
