The dispute began after some autos of Congress leaders collaborating in by-election marketing campaign had been stopped by personnel of the Bhagwa police station, one other official stated.
Later, the Congress leaders allegedly threatened the police officers, he stated.
However, district Congress president Manoj Trivedi alleged that the case was registered after Charan Singh Yadav, who contested the final MP Assembly election on BSP’s ticket, joined the Congress throughout a public assembly of Kamal Nath in Bada Malehra, the place a bypoll is scheduled on Tuesday.
