‘Naidu spreading lies on Amma Vodi, Nadu- Nedu works’

Education Minister A. Suresh has accused TDP nationwide president N. Chandrababu Naidu of spreading false data throughout his election marketing campaign on the Jagananna Amma Vodi scheme and Nadu-Nedu works in faculties.
Addressing the media on the district social gathering workplace in Ongole on Friday, Mr. Suresh, whereas displaying the newspaper clippings on the poor situation of presidency faculties in Kuppam constituency and different areas in Chittoor district throughout the tenure of the TDP authorities, mentioned that this was proof of how the earlier authorities had uncared for the schooling sector.
The Minister mentioned the State authorities was revamping the colleges beneath the ‘Manabadi – Nadu Nedu’ programme in three phases. A complete of 15,715 faculties had been renovated at a price of ₹3,700 crore in first part, he mentioned.
The authorities had spent almost ₹315 crore for revamping 1,533 faculties in Chittoor district alone, he mentioned, and added that 121 faculties got a facelift at a price of ₹30 crore in Mr. Naidu’s Kuppam constituency within the first part.
Showing the images of the renovated Government High School in Kuppam and Sanganapalli, the Minister requested Mr. Naidu to examine the colleges himself.
The Amma Vodi scheme was launched to make sure that no pupil dropped out of faculty due to poverty, he mentioned, and added that Mr. Naidu would by no means perceive the aim of the scheme.
