The officers will head Income Tax Department ranges in the north-west area (headquartered at Chandigarh), Delhi, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, Od isha, Rajasthan, TamilNadu and Puducherry, West Bengal and Sikkim, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana amongst others.
Officers have additionally been posted as the pinnacle of the division to specialised directorates of the Tax Department like exemptions, authorized and analysis, the nationwide e-assessment centre and nationwide faceless evaluation centre amongst others.
