Over 50 shanties of Rohingya refugees gutted in fire in Delhi, no casualty

More than 50 shanties have been gutted in a fire that broke out at a Rohingya refugee camp close to Kalindi Kunj Metro station in southeast Delhi, officers mentioned on June 13.
The incident happened on June 12 and the fire division obtained details about it round 11.55 p.m., a senior fire official mentioned.
No one was injured in the fire, the official mentioned.
Five fire tenders have been rushed to the spot close to Kalindi Kunj Metro station, Madanpur Khadar. The fire was introduced beneath management round 3 am, the official mentioned.
According to police, a PCR name relating to the fire on the Rohingya camp was obtained at Kalindi Kunj police station.

“Fifty-six shanties, housing around 270 Rohingya refugees, were gutted in the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and appropriate legal action is being taken,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) R.P. Meena mentioned.
