Over 50 shanties of Rohingya refugees gutted in fire in Delhi, no casualty

More than 50 shanties have been gutted in a fire that broke out at a Rohingya refugee camp close to Kalindi Kunj Metro station in southeast Delhi, officers stated on June 13.
The incident came about on June 12 and the fire division obtained details about it round 11.55 p.m., a senior fire official stated.
No one was injured in the fire, the official stated.
Five fire tenders have been rushed to the spot close to Kalindi Kunj Metro station, Madanpur Khadar. The fire was introduced below management round 3 a.m., the official stated.
According to police, a PCR name relating to the fire on the Rohingya camp was obtained at Kalindi Kunj police station.

“Fifty-six shanties, housing around 270 Rohingya refugees, were gutted in the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and appropriate legal action is being taken,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) R.P. Meena stated.
