The Rajya Sabha on February 8 cleared The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2021 that seeks to exchange the ordinance to merge the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) cadre of civil providers officer with the Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre.
The invoice was launched within the Upper House of the Parliament final week.
Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy mentioned the Constitution of India is now totally relevant on Jammu and Kashmir, and that the invoice will allow availability of officers in Jammu and Kashmir who’ve expertise of operating Union Territory administration.
He mentioned round 170 Central legal guidelines are being carried out in Jammu and Kashmir.
He mentioned the invoice will improve the power of officers within the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Leh.
