PM Modi proposes setting up of library of Buddhist literature in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday proposed setting up of a library in India devoted to conventional Buddhist literature and scriptures, asserting that it could be a platform for analysis and dialogue.

Addressing the 6th Indo-Japan Samwad Conference by way of videoconferencing, Mr. Modi lauded the discussion board for doing nice work to advertise the concepts and beliefs of Lord Buddha, particularly among the many youth.
