Red sanders dumps seized in Chittoor, Kadapa
Combing events of the Forest Department and the Red Sanders Task Force seized purple sanders dumps at two separate locations in Kadapa and Chittoor districts on Saturday.
Divisional Forest Officer (Rajampeta) G. Srinivasulu informed the media at Railway Kodur that 4 placing forces groups had been fashioned to comb the Seshachalam hills in the division. One group observed the motion of two Srikalahasti-based purple sanders smuggling operatives close to Railway Kodur and took them into custody.
During interrogation, it was revealed that they had been able to facilitate the transport of purple sanders logs dumped on the forest fringe areas, and the identical had been seized together with a motorbike. Similarly, one other 30 logs had been seized at a forest location by a group at Obulavaripalle in Rajampeta division.
In the second incident, the Chittoor police together with the Red sanders job pressure carried out a raid at Gangamma Kona forest location close to a hillock in Nagalapuaram mandal, and seized 101 purple sanders logs, scattered into 10 dumps. Senior officers from Tirupati rushed to the spot and inspected the terrain. The seized logs had been shifted to Tirupati. A case was registered.
DFO (Rajampeta) G. Srinivasulu stated that high precedence can be given to safety of purple sanders wealth in Seshachalam hills.
