Rly Division gets modern signal telecommunication facilities

An upgraded datalogger community system, video surveillance system monitoring room, information community administration centre, and a revamped management room for the Signal and Telecommunication wing was commissioned on Tuesday on the Thiruvananthapuram Divisional headquarters constructing at Thycaud.
Principal Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineer, Southern Railway, R. Bhaskaran commissioned the facilities within the presence of R. Mukund, Divisional Railway Manager and P. T. Benny, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Thiruvananthapuram Division.
Later by way of videoconferencing, Mr. Bhaskaran additionally inaugurated the signal circuit alterations, superior IP railway telecom exchanges at Kottayam and Ernakulam, bundling of ethernet providers to optical transport hierarchy at 13 places, software program and {hardware} simulation lab for railway telecom working personnel at Ernakulam.
