Though the prosecution and the sufferer had sought a change of courtroom arguing that the trial courtroom was appearing in a biased method, the High Court had rejected their plea.
With the knowledge of the prosecutor stepping down reaching the trial courtroom, the Special Judge directed the investigation officer in the case to make vital preparations for resuming the proceedings shortly. The case has been posted for November 26, contemplating the instructions of the Supreme Court to finish the trial in the case on or earlier than February 4, 2021, sources indicated.
