SSC exams to be held from June 7

Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh on Wendesday mentioned the State would conduct Secondary School Certificate (tenth Class) Public examinations from June 7 to 16.
At a press convention, the Minister mentioned the Board of Secondary Education had launched the examination schedule, in accordance to which the examinations comprised seven papers which might be held from 9.30 a.m. to 12.45 p.m.
He mentioned to make up for misplaced tutorial time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lessons have been being carried out for all sections from February 1. Students of Class 10 would attend lessons until June 5.
Final exams of Classes 1 to 9 have been scheduled from May 3 and college students would have holidays from May 15 to June 30 and the brand new tutorial 12 months was proposed to be began from July 1, he mentioned.
Time-table
Students of Class 10 will write their examination in first language (Group-A) and first language- Paper I (Composite Course) on June 7, second language on June 8, English on June 9, Mathematics on June 10, Physical Science on June 11, Biological Science on June 12, Social Studies on June 14, first language- Paper II (Composite Course) and OSSC principal language Paper-I (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian) on June 15 and OSSC principal language Paper-II (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian) and SSC Vocation Course (Theory) on June 16.
Supplementary exams
Mr. Suresh mentioned supplementary exams would be carried out after a niche of 1 month of the ultimate exams. In view of the decreased work days due to the pandemic, the departments involved had pruned 30% of the syllabus as lessons may be carried out solely on 167 days within the tutorial 12 months. He mentioned barring second Saturdays and Sundays, lessons would be carried out on all days.

Mr. Suresh mentioned Intermediate college students would be given an opportunity to enhance their scores. In view of the lockdown, the federal government had declared all Intermediate college students as cross with out conducting any exams. The college students looking for to enhance their marks in sure topics, may write the exams scheduled from May 3. They would be given the selection to retain “Best of the two”. This facility was being given in view of the potential issues the scholars could face in future whereas showing for aggressive exams or in job interviews, he mentioned.
The Minister mentioned the federal government had determined not to improve examination price this 12 months in view of the monetary issues of the individuals on account of COVID-19. He mentioned barring an examination charges of ₹490, ₹10 for utility type and ₹190 for Practical examinations, no additional price would be charged from the scholars.
