Karnataka boasts of a complete of 42 products which were included within the Geographical Indication (GI) of products listing. This is out of 370 items have been given GI tag within the nation.
Separate stalls for GI items can be arrange on the Bengaluru and different airports within the State for their promotion, stated Major and Medium Industries Minister Jagadish Shettar on Friday within the Assembly. He was replying to Abhaya Prasad of the Congress.
