Star Air flight connects Belagavi with Nashik

Star Air, a personal civil aviation firm, has launched extra routes and extra flights from Belagavi below UDAAN, a Centrally-aided regional connectivity scheme.
Direct flights between Belagavi and Nashik had been launched on Monday, the corporate’s second anniversary.
Airline officers mentioned that the flight might assist develop the area as it is going to join Belagavi, the seat of India’s first non-public aerospace SEZ, to Nashik, which is India’s defence and aerospace manufacturing hub. Nashik is a part of a billion-dollar Delhi-Mumbai industrial hall challenge and direct flights would help industrial actions on each side.
Shrenik Ghodawat, director, mentioned that the “Sanjay Ghodawat Group and Star Air will try to augment regional connectivity and catapult trade and tourism for Belagavi.”
He hoped that with Nashik’s proximity to Shirdi, the pilgrimage centre, Star Air’s flight service will entice lakhs of devotees from Belagavi and adjoining districts. It may also assist vacationers from Nashik and adjoining areas to go to Kolhapur, Hubballi and Goa, located close to Belagavi.
The non cease flight from Belagavi will probably be operated thrice per week on Monday, Friday and Sunday. As per UDAAN scheme, the inaugural flight tickets will begin at ₹ 1,999.
