Stone laid for five health centres in Tirupati

In a serious improvement in direction of enhancing the health infrastructure in town, the Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) has determined to construct five city health centres with a monetary outlay of ₹4 crore.
MP M. Gurumoorthy, MLA B. Karunakar Reddy, Mayor R. Sireesha and MCT Commissioner P.S. Gireesha participated in the bottom breaking ceremony right here on Friday for the development of the centres arising at Tirumala Reddy Nagar, Madhava Nagar, Auto Nagar, Tata Nagar and Muthyala Reddy Palle (outdated Panchayat workplace) below the National Health Mission.
Government land was recognized for their development and the proposal was forwarded to the State and Central governments, which gave the nod. “While there are already eight such centres, construction of these additional five will ensure that any denizen can reach a health centre within fifteen minutes of walk,” noticed Mr. Gireesha.
The centres can have the all important tools and medicines to cater to the fundamental wants of pregnant girls, youngsters and senior residents.
