‘State govt. taking all steps for overall development of the district’
Endowments Minister and in-charge Minister of Vizianagaram district Velampalli Srinivasa Rao on Tuesday mentioned that the State authorities was taking a sequence of steps for the general improvement of the district whereas alleging that its progress was fully ignored by the earlier authorities. Along with Deputy Chief Minister Pamula Pushpa Srivani and Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botcha Satyanarayana, he reviewed the event of the district on the Collectorate.
Speaking on the event, he directed the officials to submit details of numerous ongoing projects and the fund requirement to take up the difficulty on a precedence foundation. Mr. Satyanarayana mentioned that rural financial system needs to be strengthened by extending all assist to the farmers within the ensuing kharif season. He directed the officials to finish paddy procurement with regard to rabi season since many farmers had been stilling going through many hurdles in promoting their produce. Ms. Pushpa Srivani expressed concern over many irregularities in disbursement of pensions. She directed the officials to conduct an inquiry and take corrective measures instantly.
