Three youths lynched in Tripura

Three youths suspected of stealing cattle have been lynched to loss of life in Khowai district earlier than daybreak on Sunday. Two of the victims have been tied with ropes earlier than an irate mob thrashed them to loss of life, whereas the third was caught after a chase and overwhelmed to loss of life.
The youths, residents of three neighbouring villages of Sonamura subdivision in Sepahijala district, have been allegedly transporting cattle in a mini-truck once they have been intercepted at north Maharanipur in Khowai district. People from close by villages held Billal Mia (30) and Joyed Hussain (28) whereas Saiful Islam (18) managed to flee from the scene.
The mob tied Billal and Joyed with ropes and began beating them with bamboo and picket sticks. They have been thrashed to loss of life on the scene.
Another group of villagers who chased Saiful caught him at Mungiakami village and lynched him there. Police groups recovered the youths from each incident spots and shifted them to GBP Hospital in Agartala the place they have been declared introduced useless.
Police stated they’d seized the mini-truck and 5 head of cattle.
Just a few head of cattle have been allegedly stolen from Namanjoypara, close to north Maharanipur, the place the automobile was intercepted.
