Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Wednesday challenged DMK president M.K. Stalin to participate in a debate with him over the corruption charges he has levelled in opposition to the AIADMK authorities.
Addressing an election marketing campaign at Anthiyur on Wednesday, the CM mentioned that Mr. Stalin had submitted an inventory detailing corruption charges in opposition to the federal government to the TN Governor. “Where did corruption happen? I am ready for a debate and he should take part in the debate without any speaking notes,” he mentioned.
Mr. Palaniswami mentioned that DMK authorities was the one authorities within the nation that was dismissed by the Centre on charges of corruption. “They (DMK) committed a rice scam, Veeranam scam and pesticide scam in a scientific manner,” he mentioned. Mr. Palaniswami mentioned that the 2G spectrum rip-off had rocked the whole world and “these scam kings” have been now criticizing the AIADMK authorities.
