TTD takes up improvement works on Alipiri footpath at a cost of ₹11 cr.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has resolved to undertake stability improvement works alongside the Alipiri footpath at a cost of ₹11 crore.

The outdated footpath, typically most popular by pilgrims to succeed in the temple city, is 7.6 km lengthy and has round 3,550 steps. More than 20,000 pilgrims take the footpath on a median each day and the quantity goes up to 40,000 on auspicious events.

The TTD has entrusted the works pertaining to the roof and footpath to the Reliance Industries that are in progress.
