Uddhav Thackeray writes to Governor on seeking OBCs’ data from Centre

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday requested Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari to be a part of his authorities in seeking empirical data on OBCs from the Central authorities, which is important for sustaining political reservation for the group in native civic our bodies. The points included, holding monsoon session of the State legislature for under two days, election of the Assembly Speaker and OBCs’ political reservation.

Said data is with the Central government and if given to State government, then further action can be taken.
