The 102-year-old handed away in Thiruvananthapuram attributable to age-related illnesses.
Janathipatya Samrakshana Samiti (JSS) leader and Revenue Minister of the primary Communist Ministry in 1957, K.R. Gouri Amma handed away at a personal hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday morning attributable to age-related illnesses. She was 102.
The legendary Communist leader was shifted from her home at Cherthala in Alappuzha to her niece’s residence in Thiruvananthapuram final month.
She was admitted to a personal hospital on April 22 following fever and giddiness and was within the ICU.
Later, she was shifted to room and once more to the ICU final week. She breathed her final at 7 a.m. on May 11.
