A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also broken them in well that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where could someone find Golden Goose sneakers?
Cettire had them on sale and I jumped on it right away!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick which gold shoes near me was a major plus
What’s the going rate?
I picked them up for $385.43, though they usually retail for around $513.91.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.
How does the sizing run?
I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.
Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you recommend them?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.

Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me. They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up

They required minimal break-in time.
Do they hold up well?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
