An Imam in a village right here was castrated and overwhelmed to loss of life by his spouse for planning another marriage, police mentioned on Friday.
The incident occurred in Shikarpur village on Thursday night when Hazra injured Maulvi Vakil Ahmad, Imam at a mosque in Bhora Khurd Village.
She informed the police that her husband was planning another marriage and an argument over the problem turned violent, resulting in his loss of life.
A case was registered towards her on the Bhorakla police station, Station House Officer Nitendra Singh mentioned, including the sufferer’s physique was despatched for postmortem.
