Youth held for rape of minor

The All-Women Police, Madhavaram, on Wednesday arrested a 24-year-old youth for residing with a 14-year-old lady since final 12 months.
The mother and father of the sufferer, residing within the Madhavaram police station limits, lodged a grievance on May 4 final 12 months with the police, alleging that their daughter had gone lacking. Both have been subjected to medical examination. Police arrested Aravindh Krishna for offences underneath the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He was remanded in judicial custody.
