A day after senior Congress chief Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan obtained a death threat, the Kottayam West police have launched a probe into the incident.
The police staff on Thursday collected the assertion of Mr. Radhakrishnan. Mr. Radhakrishnan later informed mediapersons that it was up to the State authorities to probe whether or not the convicts within the T.P. Chandrasekharan homicide case had any function within the threat.
“A few lines in the letter indeed raise suspicion about the involvement of the TP case convicts,” he stated.
An nameless letter posted from Kozhikode to Mr. Radhakrishnan’s MLA quarters handle threatened to kill the previous Home Minister and his relations if they didn’t depart the State inside 10 days. Following this, Mr. Radhakrishnan filed a criticism with the Chief Minister.
