Edappadi K. Palaniswami urged individuals to vote for the AIADMK to proceed to stay peacefully and for companies to operate effectively
AIADMK chief and Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Thursday stated the State had not witnessed any caste or communal clashes during his rule.
Campaigning for AIADMK’s Madurai East Assembly constituency candidate R. Gopalakrishnan at Othakadai in Madurai, Mr. Palaniswami urged individuals to vote for AIADMK to proceed to have peaceable governance. “It has been over four years since I took charge as the Chief Minister, after which no caste or religious clashes were reported. Under the AIADMK government, people can live peacefully and businesses can function without any hindrances,” he added.
Dubbing the DMK as a celebration of ruffians, he stated that if it was voted to energy, then there can be no peace within the State. Recently, a DMK functionary had meals at a restaurant in Chennai and refused to pay the invoice to the proprietor, he alleged. “DMK leader M.K. Stalin threatened the shop owner rather taking than action against the DMK functionary,” he claimed. “Do you need such a leader?” Mr.Palaniswami requested.
The Chief Minister alleged that the DMK grabbed a whole bunch of acres of land from poor individuals and it was the AIADMK authorities which returned these lands to the individuals.
The AIADMK chief stated that energy cuts have been a major subject during the erstwhile DMK authorities. But, the AIADMK authorities prioritised supplying uninterrupted electrical energy to the individuals to make sure the event of the State. With the provision of excellent infrastructure, together with electrical energy, many industries are keen to arrange industries in Tamil Nadu. In the Global Investors Meet held in 2019, the federal government signed 304 Memoranda of Understanding entailing investments to the tune of round ₹3 lakh crore. “This will provide job opportunities to hundreds of educated youth,” stated Mr. Palaniswami.
The Chief Minister defined the schemes introduced within the celebration’s election manifesto and urged the general public to vote for the AIADMK.
